Shiv announces to the family his intention to fetch Gayatri. As he begins to depart, he receives a message that leaves him visibly shaken.
Expressing her concern, Manorama voices worry over Shiv and Shakti’s situation, noting that Gayatri has not reached out yet. She refrains from contacting her, speculating tension in their household, and offers prayers for their well-being.
Despite Shiv’s knocking, Gayatri remains unresponsive behind her closed door. Upon entering, Shiv finds her standing by a window with her back turned. He earnestly asks if she has forgiven him, to which Gayatri affectionately gazes back.
Meanwhile, Shakti fervently prays for Shiv and Gayatri’s reconciliation. Dadi urges Nandu to check on them, but Rimjhim suggests waiting. Mandira appears apprehensive, prompting Dadi to instruct Sundari to take food to Kartik and remove him from the scene. Mandira volunteers to check on Kartik, but Shakti advises against it, opting to wait instead. Mandira proposes surprising Shiv together, prompting Dadi to endorse the idea, leading them all to Gayatri’s room.
Inside, Shiv repeats his query to Gayatri about forgiveness, eliciting a smile from her. Suddenly, he perceives Gayatri being stabbed and instinctively grabs the knife as she collapses. The family rushes in to find Gayatri on the floor, Shiv clutching the knife. Shakti attempts to enter but is halted by Mandira, who accuses Shiv of the crime, shocking everyone present. Shakti vehemently defends Shiv, refusing to believe the accusation. Mandira insists they preserve the scene as evidence, claiming Shiv as the perpetrator.
As confusion and tension escalate, Kartik nonchalantly interrupts, suggesting they cut the cake. Shakti redirects him to his room, and Mandira pulls Shakti away. Amidst the turmoil, Dadi faints from stress, while Ragunath and Nandu assert Shiv’s innocence. Shakti and Mandira argue over Shiv’s guilt, with Mandira revealing a video implicating Gayatri in Gauri’s murder. Shakti dismisses the video as fake, prompting Mandira to accuse her of orchestrating the situation. Tempers flare as accusations fly, culminating in Mandira’s confession of manipulating events. Shakti, overwhelmed with anguish, expresses her concern for Shiv as Rimjhim and Padma restrain her, leaving her in tears.
