Scene 1
Karthik asks where Adit is going. Lakshmi tells him Adit has a meeting at the office. Karthik wonders if it’s outside Delhi since Adit’s car was found on the expressway, possibly heading towards Agra. They urgently inquire about Adit’s whereabouts from the receptionist, who seems to have ignored their previous questions. Karthik pleads for information, and a ward boy mentions an accident case. Mangal and Kusum rush to follow him. The manager questions Lakshmi about Adit’s wife, surprising her and Karthik. Karthik decides to investigate while advising Lakshmi not to distress Mangal further.
Kusum breaks down, worrying about Adit, and faints. Mangal attends to her, while Lakshmi joins them. Kusum pleads to see her son, but the nurse denies them access. Lakshmi consoles Mangal, who blames herself for Adit’s stress and loneliness. Meanwhile, Lakshmi wonders how to reveal that Adit wasn’t alone in the accident.
Outside, Lakshmi finds Somiya getting treated for wounds and questions her presence with Adit. Lakshmi confronts Somiya about accompanying Adit when he claimed to be alone.
Scene 2
Mangal inquires about Adit’s condition, learning he’s undergoing an MRI for a head injury. The doctor mentions Adit’s wife, shocking Kusum and Mangal. Mangal questions what he means by Adit’s wife, realizing Adit wasn’t alone during the accident.
Lakshmi questions Somiya about her attendance at the meeting, surprising Mangal and others. Mangal hugs Somiya, thanking her for saving Adit’s life. The doctor confirms Adit’s safety, attributing it to Somiya’s timely intervention. Mangal advises Somiya to avoid late meetings in the future.
The doctor reveals Adit might have internal injuries, potentially affecting his memory, leading to a long treatment. Kusum and Mangal break down. Karthik consoles them, emphasizing they should be grateful Adit’s life is no longer in danger. The doctor allows Mangal to visit Adit, while Kusum prays outside. The doctor escorts Mangal to Adit’s bedside. Adit doesn’t respond when asked his name. Mangal holds his hand, trying to reassure him. The doctor asks if Adit recognizes Mangal, and he utters “amma,” surprising Mangal. Somiya enters and hugs Adit, relieved he’s okay. Adit inquires if Mangal knows, to which Somiya replies negatively. Mangal updates Kusum about Adit recognizing her. Somiya adds that the rest of the family also saw her and spoke to her. Adit predicts drama as Mangal and the family approach.
