The scene opens with Veer playfully teasing Bulbul, who questions him about his teasing. Veer advises her to always keep a smile on her face, remarking that her face looks dull without it. He then suggests watching a film starring Kartik Aryan, to which Bulbul enthusiastically agrees, breaking into a dance. Veer promises to book the tickets while she dances. Later, Veer affectionately feeds kachori to Vani, who expresses her delight as it’s her favorite snack. Meanwhile, Bulbul observes them from outside.
Inviting Bulbul inside, Veer reminds Vani that Bulbul is her sister-in-law, prompting Vani to recall the time Bulbul saved and played with her. Vani warmly welcomes Bulbul and suggests she make Veer’s favorite dish next time. Veer, however, jokingly remarks that Bulbul is still learning, hinting he can’t take any risks. Despite this, Bulbul praises the kachori they’re enjoying that day. Veer playfully reminds her of a previous incident involving rabdi, teasingly accusing her of staring at him, which Bulbul denies. Vani joins in, praising Bulbul’s cooking over another relative’s, leading to tension with Varnika, who interrupts angrily, insisting Bulbul leave as their grandmother is calling her.
Meanwhile, Dhristi and Gita return home to find Devender injured, with Ratan jokingly referring to him as “yamdood.” Bulbul apologizes to her mother for a previous incident involving kundali drama. Sulakshana then informs Bulbul about the upcoming Mahashivratri fast, urging her to keep it and prepare prasad for a grand puja, claiming it will determine couples’ destiny. Bulbul reluctantly agrees. Vardhan expresses concern to Sulakshana about the strict fast, given her recent hospitalization.
As Bulbul contemplates her fate for the upcoming puja, she addresses a scale and a board where her marks are written, speaking to them as if they were her adversaries from childhood. She prays for good marks, fearing her grandmother’s wrath if she fails. Veer overhears and teases her about rats, leading Bulbul to joke about her own hunger. Veer suggests making thandai, a traditional drink consisting of dry fruits and milk, which Bulbul agrees to prepare.
In the kitchen, Veer demonstrates how to make thandai, grinding the dry fruits on a silbatta. Bulbul marvels at his culinary skills, reflecting on her father’s lack of kitchen prowess and jokingly referring to Veer as the “thanedar saa,” indicating his knowledge of everything.
