Agastya tells Imlie and Malti that their husbands are gone, but there’s a big difference between their situations. He explains that Imlie proudly calls herself Agastya’s widow, while Malti still wears sindoor and waits for Raghu eagerly. Agastya is upset to see his sister’s pain and says he would even destroy the house to ease her suffering. He suspects Imlie is hiding the truth about Raghu’s death but promises to uncover it soon. Feeling guilty, Imlie rushes back to her room.
Later, Shivani and Sonali come in, worried about Shivani’s nightmares since the accident. Shivani wants to confess to Surya about what happened, but Imlie insists on taking the blame herself to protect Shivani. Sonali questions why Imlie would sacrifice for people who mistreat her. She suggests instead of taking blame, Imlie should find the real culprit. Impressed by Imlie’s determination, Sonali encourages her to investigate.
The next morning, Daadi tries to get Surya to eat breakfast, but he rushes out. He meets Constable Tripathi, who takes him to investigate Raghu’s whereabouts. Imlie secretly follows them. Tripathi warns Surya about the dangerous gang they’re dealing with, making Imlie scared. Surya finds Imlie in his car and she insists on helping. Reluctantly, Surya allows her to accompany him. They confront the gang, but the gang leader refuses to cooperate. Despite the danger, Surya remains calm. Imlie laughs nervously and then bravely approaches the gangsters herself.
