The story starts with Abhira planning for Akshu’s birthday. She thinks Armaan, her friend, must have planned something great. But when Manish and everyone come home, they ask Armaan about Ruhi, who is missing. Armaan doesn’t know where she is. Dadi says Ruhi hasn’t come back yet. Manish is shocked. Armaan promises to find her. Abhira is upset because Armaan didn’t come despite calling her. Armaan talks to Ruhi’s driver and rushes to find her.
Abhira cries because she feels like Armaan doesn’t care about her. Meanwhile, Ruhi is upset and walks on the road. Armaan finds her and saves her from danger. Abhira is still upset and decides to celebrate her mom’s birthday alone. She chases a boy who teases her. Dadi informs Manish that Armaan found Ruhi and she’s safe. Manish wants to talk to Ruhi, but she refuses. Abhira visits an orphanage and sees preparations for Akshu’s birthday, but Armaan hasn’t arrived yet.
Armaan consoles Ruhi and asks why she’s upset with Manish. Ruhi explains that Manish wanted to celebrate her aunt’s birthday, who died because of her, along with her mom. Armaan comforts her. Abhira waits for Armaan, but he doesn’t show up. Manish brings a cake for the kids at the orphanage, apologizing for not being able to celebrate Akshu’s birthday. Abhira cuts the cake and dances with the kids, while Armaan is still missing.
When Armaan finally arrives, Abhira dances with him happily. Ruhi comes to Goenka house and asks for some time alone. Abhira leaves to get money from an ATM without telling Armaan. Armaan realizes Abhira is in trouble when her phone is off and she hasn’t returned. He tries calling her, but her phone is off. Abhira borrows a phone from the driver but can’t remember Armaan’s number. She rushes to the bus stop. Ruhi is in Armaan’s room, feeling grateful for his support.
