Arjun is busy decorating, and Kashvi brings in a rope of flowers. Arjun playfully puts it around her and suggests that he will remove it later. Kashvi declines his assistance, stating that she understands his intentions. Arjun, determined to prove her love for him and to break off her impending marriage, accidentally falls on top of Kashvi, and they both end up on the bed. Kashvi quickly gets up and leaves, while Arjun hugs a pillow.
During a meal, Karun asks Dadi for juice, but Dadi realizes they forgot to bring it to the table. Arjun wipes ketchup off Kashvi’s mouth, leading to an uncomfortable moment. Arjun insists that his intentions are innocent, but Dadi, observing the scene, becomes upset. Confronting him, Dadi accuses Arjun of trying to get closer to Kashvi, and questions him about Mahima. Arjun reveals that he has filed for divorce and expresses his love for Kashvi. Dadi asserts that Kashvi loves Adi, not Arjun. Arjun, undeterred, claims that Kashvi will eventually realize her love for him and call off her engagement with Adi.
The next day, the Bajwas gather for the engagement. Arjun calls Karun, suggesting they leave as it’s late at night. At the event, Arjun accidentally collides with Dadi while holding haldi. He later informs Kashvi that he saved her haldi, but Kashvi, knowing him well, had prepared another plate. Adi’s mother arrives, causing a commotion by expressing her disapproval of Kashvi. Dadi defends Kashvi’s right to remarry, and Adi stands firm in his decision to marry her despite the interference. Arjun proposes canceling the marriage, but Adi is resolute in proceeding with the ceremony. Adi’s mother insists on continuing the haldi ritual, creating tension. Kashvi takes Adi’s mother to the room, attempting to share their story, but she remains disinterested. Arjun comforts Kashvi outside, taking her aside.
