Piyush doesn’t want to be friends with Karun because Karun’s dad is in jail. But Karun insists that his dad is on a mission. When Piyush’s mom gets involved, she tells Karun to call Mahima to pick him up. Mahima, however, is annoyed by the call and ignores it, making Karun feel sad. Romila then comes to pick up Karun, but she faces taunts from some ladies. Karun asks Romila to tell his friends that his dad is on a mission, but Romila just takes him home.
At home, Karun asks Romila where his dad is, but Romila avoids the question. When Romila tries to discipline Karun, Kashvi steps in to protect him. Karun asks if his dad is in jail, and Mahima confirms it, causing a rift between Kashvi and Mahima. Later, Kashvi tries to comfort Karun and promises to take him to see his dad in the morning.
