The story begins with Sachin hanging out with his friends, drinking wine. He tells them he lost his job. Pakya, one of his friends, shares his own troubles about his wife leaving him after three years of marriage. Sachin continues to drink heavily.
Meanwhile, Sayali, another character, delivers a Gajra (a type of flower garland) to a lady. Sayali’s family worries about her, especially her mother who expresses concern about Sayali’s innocence.
Sachin and his friends start dancing on the road, where Sayali notices them. Sachin grabs Sayali’s bag and dances with it, but Sayali takes it back and leaves.
Back at Sayali’s home, her family discusses her future and her brother expresses disappointment over receiving a basic phone instead of a smartphone. Sayali reassures him and tries to lighten the mood.
Later, Sayali’s neighbor suggests a marriage proposal for her, but Sayali hesitates due to astrological reasons. She expresses her desire to support her parents financially.
At Sachin’s house, he returns home inebriated and reveals to his parents that he lost his job. His mother gets angry, but his father remains supportive, offering encouragement and promising to buy him a new bike.
Tensions rise when Tejas, Sachin’s sister, arrives home and gets into an argument with Sachin. Their mother accuses Sachin of being a troublemaker, leading to a heated exchange between family members.
Sachin defends himself, expressing loyalty to his grandmother who raised him. The argument escalates until Sachin’s mother disowns him, declaring he is no longer her son.
