Angad and Sahiba were driving home after dropping off Simran at her new school in Shimla. While they were driving, a song played softly in the background. Sahiba asked Angad why he had promised Simran they would visit often when they were actually getting divorced. Angad wondered why Sahiba wanted to punish Simran for his mistake. Suddenly, the driver stopped the car and informed them about a roadblock due to a landslide ahead. Sahiba suggested taking a different route, but the driver said it was the only way and suggested staying at a nearby hotel. Angad thought maybe they were meant to stay there. Sahiba preferred staying in the car despite the increasing cold.
Meanwhile, a mysterious person watched them from afar. Angad, realizing Sahiba was still not well and feeling hungry, suggested they find a hotel. The driver mentioned one about a 40-minute walk away. He would stay with his cousin and pick them up later. Angad asked him to lock the car properly and go. Sahiba insisted on carrying her own bag. They followed the GPS on Angad’s phone, hoping to reach the hotel soon.
As they walked, the mysterious person continued to observe them. Sahiba noticed a light in the distance, which Angad investigated cautiously. He thought it might be a firefly or the eyes of an animal. Sahiba grew anxious, but Angad assured her they were heading in the right direction toward the smoke.
Eventually, they arrived at a hut and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Sahiba was trembling from the cold, so Angad suggested she wear his clothes while he went outside to check for a network signal. When he returned, he found Sahiba wearing his clothes and couldn’t help but smile.
However, Sahiba was upset and told Angad she would return his clothes once hers were dry. She slipped, and Angad caught her, their eyes meeting in a moment of closeness as a song played softly in the background.
