Sahiba sees Jasleen smiling at Akeer and wonders if Jasleen is Akeer’s secret friend. Then she notices Angad also wearing shoes and wonders if he’s another secret friend trying to take Akeer away. She feels uneasy when Angad looks at her and leaves. Sahiba tells Diljeet about her worries, saying she thinks Akeer really does have secret friends. Diljeet thinks it’s just Akeer’s imagination, but Sahiba insists a mother knows when her child is in trouble.
They decide to go pray, and Sahiba prays that Angad isn’t Akeer’s secret friend, asking for protection for her son. She ties a protective thread around Akeer.
Later, Amu arrives with her parents and asks Harleen to come in. Harleen, hearing a child’s voice, remembers abandoning her own baby at the same gurudwara. She starts feeling dizzy, and Diljeet helps her sit down. Amu and her parents express concern for Harleen and tell her to take care of herself. Harleen hopes her baby is safe.
The doctor notices Sahiba’s artwork and compliments her. Sahiba asks if Diljeet got his hospital window fixed, and the doctor confirms. He then asks Sahiba to paint the new pediatric ward in his hospital, which she agrees to.
Amu asks Angad to show her the wall he built, and they go look at it. Amu admires Sahiba’s painting and praises her work. She asks Angad if he’d seen it before, to which he says yes. Amu comments on the imperfections in the colors, but Sahiba defends her work, accusing Angad of disrespecting others with his money and power.
Amu questions Sahiba about a car incident involving Angad, and Sahiba explains that Angad had crashed his car out of ego while she was praying for her family. Amu realizes they have a history together.
Angad walks away and tells Amu he’ll take her to langar. Amu asks if he knows Sahiba, and Angad admits she’s from his past.
Meanwhile, Manveer suggests going to langar, and they all offer to help. Angad gets lost in thought while cutting vegetables, and Manveer advises him to move on from Sahiba and pursue a relationship with Amu.
Later, Angad agrees to marry Amu and tells Manveer he wants to talk to her first. Manveer agrees to get them engaged soon.
Angad and Amu talk, and Angad confirms he wants to move on and start with friendship. Amu agrees, saying she trusts his friendship. They hold hands, and Manveer and Harleen are happy for them.
Amu’s father, Arminder, warns Angad to keep his daughter happy or face consequences. Angad promises to do so and requests to have the engagement at the gurudwara. Amu agrees, and Manveer suggests having the engagement the next day. Jasleen suggests celebrating, but Sahiba feels uneasy about it.
