The episode begins with Baldev telling Amma that he’s arranged for a Shiv Vivaah ceremony. Amma asks about the eldest daughter-in-law. Indu suggests asking Baldev as he might know her whereabouts. Baldev assumes she’s in her room. Indu complains about doing all the work while the eldest daughter-in-law is called the responsible one. Krish and Payal arrive, and Indu removes any evil eye from Krish. Krish asks about Bindiya and Sam.
Baldev says they might have gone out somewhere. Krish is surprised as they are business partners and should have informed him. Samay arrives with Bindiya and explains they went to the temple. He adds they didn’t inform Krish as he doesn’t participate in rituals. Bindiya goes to Shanti’s room and sees her about to faint.
She helps her and learns her sugar level is low. Bindiya tries to convince Shanti to drink juice, but Shanti worries about breaking her fast. Bindiya explains about the concept of Sarati and Barati, convincing Shanti to let her keep the fast on her behalf. Payal is caught eating fruits on the terrace by Sakshi, who warns her about the consequences.
