The episode commences with Raavan’s chariot reassembling itself. Raavan takes Sita with him, but Jatayu intervenes, asserting that they are not opposed to righteousness. He reminds Raavan that he had confided in him, revealing his strength and weakness lie in his wings. Raavan accuses Jatayu of innocence, claiming that he fell for his deception and exposed his own vulnerability. With that, Raavan takes off in his chariot, with Jatayu in pursuit.
Meanwhile, Ram and Laxman come across the signs of a struggle and bloodstains. Raavan taunts them for falling into his trap and prepares to strike. Sita, concerned for Jatayu, watches helplessly as Raavan severs one of his wings, causing him to crash into the jungle below. She cries out for Jatayu, cursing Raavan for his actions and expressing her faith that Ram will ultimately defeat him and redeem her from his clutches.
Ram and Laxman discover Jatayu wounded on the ground and rush to his aid. Despite his injuries, Jatayu manages to inform them of Raavan’s treachery and his abduction of Sita. Ram vows to avenge Jatayu’s sacrifice and Sita’s abduction, while Jatayu urges them to hasten to Sita’s rescue.
As Raavan transports Sita to Lanka, she defiantly challenges him, asserting that Ram will not rest until he finds her and brings an end to his tyranny. Raavan, however, attempts to sow doubt in her mind, claiming that Ram will fail in his quest and ultimately be forgotten by the world.
Meanwhile, Ram tends to Jatayu, who identifies Raavan as Sita’s kidnapper before succumbing to his injuries. Ram, grief-stricken, swears to fulfill his duty as a son and avenge Jatayu’s death. He instructs Laxman to gather materials for Jatayu’s funeral rites, promising to confront Raavan and seek justice for his actions.
As Ram and Laxman mourn Jatayu’s passing, Hanuman informs them of another captive, Roma, held by Bali. Sugreev laments the ongoing cycle of sin perpetrated by Bali. Upon discovering the jewelry dropped by Sita from Raavan’s chariot, they realize the extent of Raavan’s depravity. Hanuman reassures them that Ram will eventually emerge victorious, bringing an end to the reign of such malevolent forces.
