Scene 1
Shakti weeps inconsolably for Shiv, imploring Dadi to let her go to him. Dadi, overcome with grief and anger, slaps her hard, accusing her of being responsible for Gayatri’s death. Mandira suggests reporting the incident to the police, but Ragunath intervenes, proclaiming that he will take the blame to spare Shiv, citing Shiv’s recent marriage and his young son as reasons to protect him from further suffering. Shakti protests Shiv’s innocence, but Mandira asserts that they must do what is right and inform the authorities to avoid further trouble. Despite Shakti’s agreement, Padma and Rimjhim forcibly remove her from the scene while Mandira contacts the police.
Meanwhile, Rimjhim and Padma escort Shakti to a room, ignoring her pleas to see Shiv.
Elsewhere, Manorama grows increasingly concerned as Shakti fails to make contact. Worried, she considers calling Gayatri but decides to reach out to Shakti instead. However, her attempts are thwarted by Rimjhim, who intercepts her call and disconnects the line. Unable to reach Shakti, Manorama suspects that something is amiss.
Scene 2
Locked in her room, Shakti desperately appeals for someone to release her.
As the police arrive at Shiv’s residence, Mandira informs them of the murder.
Meanwhile, Manorama attempts to reach Shakti via landline, but her efforts are once again foiled by Padma. Concerned, Manorama suggests visiting Shiv’s house to check on them.
Inside Gayatri’s room, the inspector, accompanied by Mandira, discovers Gayatri’s lifeless body but finds no sign of Shiv. Confusion grips the family as they search for him. Questioning the circumstances, the inspector asks about the murderer. Hearing Shakti’s persistent banging, Dadi instructs Rimjhim to bring her to the scene. Shakti arrives, and when questioned by the inspector, Dadi identifies her as her daughter-in-law. The inspector queries why Shakti was locked up, to which she responds that she was trapped and they are unaware of the killer’s identity. Mandira attempts to interject, but Shakti urges trust in the investigation. Privately, she advises Dadi to allow the authorities to uncover the truth. Following their conversation, Dadi informs the inspector that they discovered Gayatri’s body unattended. The police commence their investigation, and as they leave with Gayatri’s body, Shakti reflects on her inability to save her. Meanwhile, Mandira discovers her phone hidden under the bed, recalling her failed attempt to manipulate Shiv with a fake video. Caught off guard by Shakti, Mandira surrenders the phone to the inspector, urging swift justice for the true culprit.
