Shiv tells Shakti he misses his mom. Shakti tells him to sit down. She tries to leave, but her scarf gets caught on him. She smiles at him. Ragunath tells the police chief that Shiv doesn’t seem like a killer. Mandira disagrees, saying he’s lying. Shakti says if Shiv was a killer, he would have reacted differently. She thinks he just wanted chocolate. The doctor agrees with Shakti.
Shakti believes Shiv is not well mentally and will get better one day. She feels bad about what they did with his mom’s ashes. Ragunath reveals the ashes weren’t Shiv’s mom’s but some random ones. He got them from the temple with help from Chacha. In a flashback, Chacha is seen helping Ragunath.
Mandira doesn’t think this proves anything. The police chief agrees Shiv is not mentally stable. Mandira reveals their plan in a flashback. She bribed the police chief to shock Shiv and prove he’s stable at any cost.
The police chief decides they need more tests. Nurses tie Shiv up, despite Shakti’s protests. The doctor prepares electric shocks. Shakti insists it’s wrong and illegal. Ragunath pleads for them to stop, but they ignore him. Manorama calls them crazy. Ragunath asks Mandira to stop, but she refuses.
Shakti starts recording and goes live. She exposes the illegal tests on Shiv, blaming the police chief and Mandira. She warns the police chief he’ll lose his job. He stops the shocks. Shakti accuses Mandira of bribery. The police chief claims they were just scaring Shiv and gives a certificate saying he’s unstable.
Shakti hugs Shiv, comforting him. She assures him she’s there for him. They leave together. Mandira warns Shakti she’s in trouble, but Shakti brushes it off, saying Mandira couldn’t harm Shiv because she’s protecting him.
