The story begins with the king being very upset because someone killed his children. He says he’ll sacrifice himself if the killer isn’t punished. Shiv, a powerful god, steps in and offers to take the punishment instead. But his wife Parvati stops him because she doesn’t want him to get hurt. Shiv explains he can’t bear to see an innocent person punished.
Meanwhile, a character named Diti teases another character, Shukracharya, saying that the bad influence of Shani, another powerful being, is winning over the love between Shiv and Parvati easily. Shani boasts that he’s the most powerful.
Shiv starts walking toward the punishment, which is a noose. Shani tells him to hurry up and hang himself. Parvati prays to a sacred object called Shivling, asking for her husband to be proven innocent. Even the guards pray to the god Mahadev for the truth to come out.
Shani keeps trying to make Shiv punish himself, ignoring everyone’s prayers. Shiv stays quiet. Then another character named Narayan says that Shani’s bad influence will end soon. Shani gets scared and tries to use his power again, but it fails badly. His bad influence disappears, which shocks Diti. Shukracharya explains that prayers have great power, and even Shani’s bad influence can’t resist them.
Later, the king’s children return home safely, and everyone is happy to see them. The king asks where they’ve been, and they say they went on a boat ride and stopped at a temple to pray to Mahadev. Parvati goes back to Shiv and holds his hand. The king realizes they’re not ordinary humans and asks them to reveal their true identity. They then reveal that they’re in a special form called Shiv Shakti.
