The scene opens with Shumbh making a plea to Lord Shiva, requesting the elixir of immortality, Amrith, for the Asuras. Reluctantly, Shiva agrees and procures the Amrith. The Asuras rejoice at the sight of it, believing it will elevate them to the status of gods. Diti expresses her conviction that the Amrith will make Asuras equal to the gods. However, Devraj Indra intervenes, determined to prevent Shiva from granting the Amrith to the Asuras, citing that what Vishnu couldn’t achieve, he will.
Narad chastises Devraj Indra for neglecting his duties and being preoccupied with finding Shyamala instead. Despite Devraj’s warning, Narad continues to admonish him, holding up a mirror to his actions.
Shiva proceeds to serve the Amrith to Shumbh and the other Asuras. Indra rushes to Shiva, pleading with him not to proceed. Diti asserts that the Amrith has already been consumed, making the Asuras equal to gods. Suddenly, the Asuras collapse, shocking everyone. Diti confronts Shiva, demanding to know what he fed them and how they were deceived. Shukracharya remarks that only one deity resorts to such deception. Shiva then transforms into Narayan, leaving everyone puzzled.
Shani questions the whereabouts of Shiva, who was supposedly on his way. Parvati, holding Shiva’s hand, stands by him. Narayan advises the gods to hide Shiva from Shani by immersing him in the Ganga river. He urges Parvati to convince Shiva, but he remains adamant.
Shiva instructs Parvati to release his hand, questioning how long she intends to hold on. Parvati responds that she will hold on for the next six hours until the effects of Shani’s influence wear off. Narayan advises the gods to act quickly and hide Shiva from Shani’s wrath, but Shiva refuses to comply, despite Parvati’s attempts to persuade him.
