The story begins with Parvati putting out a fire caused by Shanidev’s evil gaze in the universe. She tells Shiv that today, Adishakti triumphed while she herself lost. She explains that Jagat Mata won, but Kartikeya’s mother lost. Parvati apologizes to Shiv for covering him in holy ash and promises not to punish Shani. Shiv responds that apologies or thanks are unnecessary between them. Parvati then cleans the ash from Shiv’s body.
On Earth, devotees enjoy a feast sent by Shiv from Mount Kailash and chant praises to Mahadev Parvati. Gan tells Shiv and Parvati that today will be celebrated as Maha Shivratri. Shiv and Parvati express gratitude to the devotees. Indradev tells Nandi that the feast was delicious and expresses a desire to meet Shiv and Parvati before leaving. Nandi asks him to wait while he fetches them. Indradev agrees. Meanwhile, Kartikeya looks at Devasena, and Shani casts his evil gaze on Kartikeya. Kartikeya proposes to Devsena, but she refuses, saying it’s impossible.
Nandi informs Shiv and Parvati about Kartikeya’s actions. When Kartikeya asks who opposes his marriage to Devsena, she speaks up, stating she doesn’t want to marry him. Angered, Kartikeya claims his status as Shiv and Parvati’s son, questioning her rejection. Shiv and Parvati return, declaring that no one can force a woman into marriage against her will. Kartikeya storms off in anger. Shiv assures Indradev that he will deal with Kartikeya’s arrogance and asks him not to worry. Parvati reassures Devsena. Indradev takes everyone away, while Shani smirks at Shiv before leaving.
Diti praises Shani for causing trouble for Shiv. Nandi and Gan advise Shiv and Parvati not to be troubled by Kartikeya’s behavior. Shiv asks Nandi if he will not serve them dessert, to which Nandi happily agrees. Diti praises Shani and wonders what will happen next: Kartikeya likes Devsena, but she doesn’t like him. If Indradev sends Kartikeya away, he won’t be able to do anything. Shumbh asks Shani to ensure that the differences between parents and son remain unresolved. Shani agrees, and Shiv becomes angry upon hearing this plan.
