The story begins with Shanidev asking Shiv if everything is okay. Shiv explains that they supported Devsena because she was honest and truthful, even though it meant going against their own son. Diti suggests allowing Shyamala and Rambh to stay in the asur lok because their son Mahishasur would be important for the future of the asur clan. However, Rambh decides to leave instead of staying. Shukracharya warns that they’ve already made mistakes by sending Rambh and Shyamala away and disrespecting their unborn son would only make things worse. When Shumbh asks if he’s threatening them, Shukracharya insists he’s only stating the truth.

Meanwhile, Kartikeya is upset about recent events and goes for a walk in the jungle. Parvati tries to comfort him as a mother, but Kartikeya feels it’s unfair to her duty as Adishakti. He leaves, accusing her of siding with injustice once again, leaving Parvati puzzled. Shiv advises Parvati to meditate and discover what’s troubling their son. Parvati sees Diti urging Shanidev to harm Shiv’s family and influencing Kartikeya. Enraged, Parvati decides to punish Shanidev.

Despite Shiv’s plea to let nature take its course, Parvati commands nature to help her punish Shanidev, even if it means going against Shiv. This causes unusual weather patterns in Kailash, worrying the gods during their feast. Indradev reassures them that everything happening is ultimately for the best.

Parvati then orders nature to trap Shiv in his bhasm and heads towards Kailash. Shiv asks her to reconsider and see the consequences of her actions. Parvati sees families, friends, and even Shiv and Parvati themselves fighting because of Shanidev’s influence. Shiv warns that letting their son suffer the same fate is necessary for the greater good. Parvati decides she’d rather be seen as a good mother to the world than just to her son. Their argument continues…
