The story begins with Mahishasur crying loudly, and the other Asuras cover their ears because his cries are too loud. Rambh, who has changed, asks who Mahishasur is and how he got there. Shukracharya says they will explain later, but for now, Rambh needs to calm Mahishasur down and take him home because Mahishasur is his son. Rambh tells Mahishasur to calm down and come with him, and Shukracharya and Diti also say they care about Mahishasur and want him to come to the Asura world. But Mahishasur refuses and says he knows what to do. Diti orders Asura soldiers to capture Mahishasur and take him to the Asura world, but Mahishasur easily defeats them and walks away.
Indra, the king of the gods, orders the gods to go and kill Mahishasur. But Mahishasur stops the gods and tells them to accept him as their king or kill him. The king of the Mahishis asks why Mahishasur wants to die through them, but Mahishasur fights and defeats them, becoming their king. The gods become afraid of Mahishasur’s power.
Shukracharya tells Diti they should deal with Mahishasur later and take Rambh to the Asura world first. But Shumbh stops him and wants to test Rambh first. He gives Rambh a sword and tells him to give his blood to the Asura king. Rambh cuts his wrist and lets his blood drop on the ground, and Asuras are born from his blood. Shukracharya asks Rambh to do it again, and more Asuras are born. Shukracharya says Rambh’s blood can create many Asuras, and he will now be called Raktabeej.
Shiva tells Parvati that Indra’s mistake has given the Asuras two powerful leaders. Narayan tells them that Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, is missing. Shiva calls Lakshmi, but she is seen in a different form in Vaikunta. Shiva says Lakshmi is not listening to them, and Narad says Mahishasur is very powerful, and Indra will be worried now. Shiva says Indra will face punishment for his sins.
