The story begins with Nikki thanking Haakini for helping her. Haakini appreciates Nikki for coming to Daak Taal and assisting a Haakini to escape for the first time. Nikki hugs Haakini and advises her to confront the evil in her own world instead of coming to the jungle. Haakini leaves. Then Nikki asks Piyush why he arrived late. Piyush explains that he couldn’t make it on time. Nikki assures him that they’re together now and hugs him. Piyush mentions they have a bigger fight ahead. Nikki agrees and they leave together.
While riding the bike, they run out of petrol. Piyush tries to call Prateik but there’s no network. Nikki insists they must find a way, or she’ll be upset after going through so much to retrieve the heart from Daak Taal. Piyush sets up a bonfire and Nikki admires him. She expresses her affection, and he responds romantically. However, it turns out to be Nikki’s imagination.
Suddenly, they discover their legs are tied up. Piyush suspects the evil power of Daak Taal is behind this. A witch, Daayan, appears and accuses them of forgetting her. She reveals that Piyush was at the Rajmahal and Nikki stole the heart. Daayan hypnotizes Nikki to slap Piyush repeatedly and injures Piyush’s heart. Then she makes Nikki float in the air.
Meanwhile, Vikram worries about Prateik’s absence. Sumitra tells him not to worry. Aarohi hopes Nikki completes the ritual, or Chaaya won’t leave Piyush. Piyush returns home unconscious. Sumitra panics, thinking Daayan took his heart. Vikram calms Sumitra down and asks for Suguna’s help.
Chaaya brings a hypnotized Nikki to Malik and Daayan. Daayan is pleased as Malik will regain his powers with Nikki’s heart. Malik prepares for the ritual.
