Poonam dramatically announces her return to Raj, claiming she has come back from the dead. She recounts memories only Raj and his true love Purnima would know. However, Raj is stunned into silence and Shaina, the woman he is marrying, is furious. Poonam desperately insists on her identity but is interrupted by Shaina.
Poonam faints, and Raj takes her to the hospital. While unconscious, Poonam dreams of a happy reunion with Raj. Meanwhile, Shaina is worried that Poonam will reveal the truth about their past. At the hospital, Poonam wakes up and remembers everything. She realizes she is Purnima and vows to win Raj back.
Shaina, disguised as a nurse, enters Poonam’s room. Just as Poonam recalls her true identity and vows to claim her love, Shaina knocks her unconscious again and kidnaps her. Raj discovers Poonam is missing and frantically searches for her. Shaina takes Poonam to a secluded location and buries her car, making it appear they have left town. Raj receives a text supposedly from Poonam confirming this and is heartbroken.
