Pari walks close to the fire and hurts herself on some glass. She cries, and everyone rushes to help her. Sanju takes out the glass from her foot and tells her it’s okay. Shelly asks Neeti if she did it, but Neeti denies it and feels glad she stopped Pari from taking part in a ceremony.
Neeti goes aside and worries about keeping her relationship with Sanju secret from Shelly. Shelly finds Neeti and suggests they continue with the ceremony despite Neeti’s hesitation.
Sanju helps clean Pari’s wound, and Shelly brings Neeti over, who suddenly faints. The family checks on her, while Sanju takes care of Pari. Pami, Sanju’s mother, smiles at them, thinking their love needs protection.
Shelly tries to wake Neeti up without success. Sharda wonders what’s wrong with her. Shelly suspects if Neeti is pretending or genuinely unwell.
