Adit asks Mangal why she isn’t ready to go out. He wonders if she’ll go out like that. Mangal asks if she should go out, and Adit says she should since everyone else is going. He reminds her they’re family and tells her to hurry up and get ready. Mangal agrees to get ready.
Nitin shows Mangal the decorations he did and suggests they enjoy. He compliments them as a good couple and grabs a knife, which scares Lakshmi. She decides to tell Lakshmi she’s going out with Adit and throws cake at Nitin’s face. Mangal then calls Shanti because Lakshmi isn’t answering her phone. Shanti says Lakshmi is busy with a big order at the shop. Lakshmi tries to run away, but Nitin tries to stop her. She kicks him and runs off, ending up on the road where she meets Karthik and hugs him. He asks if she’s okay and what happened. She apologizes and asks if everything is okay.
In another scene, kids enjoy food with Adit, and Akshar gives Mangal bangles he bought for her, explaining that he got them because Papa got a chain for Dadi and he wanted to get something for his mom, who does so much for everyone. Mangal appreciates the love everyone gives her and mentions the new house Papa got them. Adit suggests they go home.
Lakshmi cries and tells Karthik about some men who were after her. She thanks him for being there and asks where he was going. He says he was just stressed and wanted to walk around. He wonders why she’s so scared and offers to drop her home, but she declines, saying she’ll take an auto.
In another scene, Karthik returns home, and Gayatri asks where he was. He initially hesitates but then admits he went to see Jiya because he loves her and she attempted suicide. He explains his feelings for Jiya to his mother.
Adit returns home and texts Somiya that he successfully took everyone out to distract them. Mangal informs Adit that Lakshmi still isn’t answering her calls and asks if they should go check on her. Adit brushes it off, saying she’s careless, and he doesn’t have time. Lakshmi then calls Mangal and apologizes for not answering earlier, explaining that she dropped her phone somewhere. Mangal tells her she went out with Adit and asks where she was.
