Mangal sees that Sonu tried to call her. She worries if Lakshmi is alright. Kusum calls and tells Mangal that Adit is on his way. When Adit arrives, he asks where Ishana is and questions why Mangal came. He thinks it embarrasses the children. Mangal explains that they all tried to call him, but he was in a meeting. Adit wonders why they didn’t call Somiya if it was urgent. Mangal assures him that she did, but Somiya didn’t answer either. Adit expresses frustration, questioning why Mangal didn’t defend Ishana when she was accused of cheating. Mangal explains that she talked to the principal and arranged for Ishana to retake the test. Adit criticizes her decision, fearing it might make things worse for Ishana. However, when Ishana returns with her teacher, it turns out she didn’t cheat, and she even performed better in the retest. Mangal feels relieved, and Adit praises Ishana.
Meanwhile, Gayatri tells Kusum about an engagement, but Kusum disapproves, reminding Gayatri of their previous discussions. Gayatri, however, is torn between her son’s happiness and a past curse. Baba tries to manipulate Lakshmi, but Mangal intervenes, deciding to take Lakshmi with her. Lakshmi feels torn between staying and leaving.
Later, Kusum visits Jiya’s house, where Jiya accidentally throws water on her, mistaking her for mischievous children. Kusum meets Jiya’s family, and they have a conversation.
The next morning, Mangal and Lakshmi dance while preparing breakfast, unaware that someone is recording them.
