Samta arranges a birthday party. Jalpa tastes the food but when she sees Hetal, she drops the spoon and makes an excuse. Samta fills a plate with sweets and gives it to Jalpa who takes it happily. Samta and Hetal discuss Naren and HemRaj’s strained relationship due to the alliance. Meanwhile, Naren confides in his friend about the situation, keeping Nandini unaware. His friend suggests eloping with Nandini, but Naren refuses, saying it’s not right.
Rupa informs Naren about HemRaj calling him downstairs. Naren agrees and goes down with his friend. He is shocked to see Sujan and his family. He decides to go back to his room, but HemRaj signals Chanchal to stop him. Chanchal requests Naren not to leave. Naren expresses his disappointment to her and then reluctantly joins the gathering. He feels helpless.
During the party, Kavita criticizes Samta’s saree style, which Kinjal corrects. Both Sujan and Kavita gift an expensive watch to Naren, but he rejects it despite HemRaj’s order.
