Ishwar tells Mehul to come inside, and then the whole family greets the Ratansi family who are at the door. They all sit on the seats reserved for the groom’s family. Chanchal says Ishwar did a great job preparing everything, but HemRaj expected more. Mehul asks Ishwar why he’s worried, but Ishwar is concerned when Mehul leaves to call someone. Manri comes to take Ishwar away.
Samta is with Roupa who leaves. She sees Ronaq drinking and asks why he’s drinking at his brother’s wedding. Ronaq questions what else he should do, and Roupa urges him to think about HemRaj’s happiness. Ronaq, angry about how HemRaj has affected his life, is about to cause a scene. Roupa pleads with him not to, explaining that if he hides, others will come looking for him. Ronaq leaves angrily.
Naren sits with his family when Nandini enters with her friends. Naren is captivated by her. Nandini greets the elders of the Ratansi family and then goes to Naren, but then kneels to take Dhawal’s blessing. She moves to Heta, who hugs her.
