Kavya shows Bunty a check. Adi says he deposited a check earlier. Kavya explains that the one she has is real, while the one Adi deposited was fake. She took a colored photo copy of the real check. She remembers swapping the checks. Rajeev, Anjali, and Mayank arrive. Rajeev praises Kavya in front of Adi and Giriraj. Kavya asks Adi if he knows what to do. Adi tears up the check and scolds Bunty, ending their relationship on Malini’s behalf.
Mayank calls Sujoy to ask about Anurag’s friend who put money in their account. Sujoy says it was Brij, surprising Mayank. Giriraj tells Rajeev to leave, but Rajeev refuses to stay where his daughter is insulted. He came to invite Giriraj to their store’s inauguration but lost his job due to a politician.
Anjali invites them all to come. Kavya gives sweets to everyone. Giriraj and Badi Amma leave, while Adi takes some sweets and goes. Kavya plans to finish the sweets as she’s hungry.
