The episode starts with Anirudh saying he has to go to work. Jhanak asks him to eat first. He eats quickly, saying he has to become a part of a lie again. The manager brings their picture and comments on their smiles. Anirudh thanks him and asks for the bill. Arshi and her friends are on their way. They ask Arshi for a treat, and she suggests going to a nearby restaurant with good food. Anirudh pays the bill and asks Jhanak to come. Jhanak accidentally leaves an envelope on the table as they leave.
Arshi arrives at the restaurant and sits down. She discusses her marriage with her friends and notices the envelope left by Jhanak and Anirudh. She checks the picture and is shocked to see Jhanak and Anirudh together. Anirudh asks Jhanak about the picture, and she realizes she forgot it. He suggests going back to retrieve it, but Jhanak doesn’t want anyone to see it. Arshi overhears their conversation and gets upset. She decides to keep the envelope in her bag and leaves.
At home, Anirudh asks Jhanak to carry the packets and not interact with anyone. Jhanak argues with Bipasha, but Anirudh tells her to ignore everyone. Anirudh explains to Tanuja that he took Jhanak out to buy clothes for her, as she didn’t have anything to wear for a party. Arshi arrives home and questions Jhanak about her outing with Anirudh. Anirudh tries to cover up by saying they went shopping for Jhanak’s sister’s wedding, but Arshi exposes the truth with the picture she found.
Arshi confronts Anirudh, and he tries to justify his actions. Anirudh and Arshi argue, leading to tension in the household. Anirudh blames Jhanak for forgetting the picture, but Jhanak realizes he’s lying and decides not to take the blame for someone else’s mistake.
