The episode begins with Bipasha visiting Jhanak. Jhanak puts on a mask and pretends to be someone else when Bipasha arrives. Bipasha tells Jhanak that Tanuja sent a yellow saree for her to wear to a puja at their home and invites her to join. Jhanak hesitates, saying she’s not part of their family, but Bipasha insists, saying it’s for Anirudh’s happiness. Meanwhile, Appu expresses how much he misses Jhanak, but Anjana warns him not to upset Anirudh by mentioning Jhanak’s name.
Anirudh’s family prepares for the puja, with Lal teasing Anirudh about a surprise gift. Bipasha schemes to humiliate Jhanak, instructing Choton to tell the priest that Jhanak can’t perform the ritual wearing a mask. Jhanak feels guilty about lying and considers leaving. However, Bipasha calls her, and Jhanak reluctantly wears the mask.
During the puja, the family insists Jhanak remove the mask, but she refuses, claiming she’s not allowed. Bipasha argues that the mask isn’t necessary all the time, leading to tension. Finally, Bipasha forcefully removes the mask, revealing Jhanak’s true identity, shocking everyone, especially Anirudh. Appu is thrilled to see Jhanak but is scolded by Shubh. Choton intervenes before things escalate further.
