Surya anxiously waits for Imli to return home. Arjun asks if he is worried for Imli. Suriya says that as a police officer, he is only worried about Imli’s return home. Arjun suggests him to express his feelings for Amli and hide it. Surya denies having any feelings for Imli. Arjun says that whenever Imli is in trouble, he gets upset and defends her even against his family, even now he will say that he has no feelings for Imli. Soraya stood silent.
Nirmala throws the garbage in the garden through the servant. Amli returns home and is shocked to see this. He confronts Nirmala, but Nirmala haughtily walks away saying that this is her house and she can litter wherever she wants. Amli picks up the garbage from the garden. Surya came walking to him and saw him sad and asked the reason. Imli reveals that she failed her exam. Surya says she can apply for re-evaluation. Imli says that she could not afford his rent.
