Imlie was making her way down the street, her limp noticeable with each step. Surya approached her, offering a cart and suggesting she sit on it to ease her discomfort. However, Imlie declined his offer. Undeterred, Surya insisted and pulled the cart towards her, causing her to fall into it. Despite her protests, he urged her to sit quietly as he pushed the cart towards their home.
Upon their return, they discovered that Daadi was refusing to take her medicine. Concerned, Imlie approached Daadi and urged her to eat and take her medication to avoid falling ill. Daadi, however, remained steadfast in her refusal. Imlie questioned if Daadi was attempting to blackmail her, to which Daadi responded that she would not eat or take medicine until Imlie agreed to marry Surya.
Distressed by Daadi’s demand, Imlie retreated to the kitchen and confided in Sonali and Shivani about the situation. Shivani expressed her belief that Imlie should indeed get married, but not to Surya, as he was not worthy of her. Surya entered and left without a word, taking his coffee with him. Shivani remarked on the irony of drinking coffee before attempting to sleep.
