Imlie tells Surya that she spoke to the doctor, who said Malti is okay now and will wake up soon. Tripathi calls Surya and asks him what to tell Govind and Sonali, who want Imlie’s bail. Govind and Sonali come back home and tell Daadi that nobody knows where Imlie is and Surya didn’t take her to the police station. Daadi asks where they are. Surya takes Imlie to a hidden house. Imlie asks why he brought her here instead of being with his sister. Surya says he was there but Amma didn’t let him see Malti and took her away. Imlie asks why. Surya shouts that everything is happening because of her, blaming her for ruining his life and family.
Imlie shares her struggles, explaining that her life isn’t as peaceful as Surya thinks. She lost her parents as a child and her sister as an adult. She grew up in poverty, got married to Agastya, but he passed away before their life could stabilize. She took on his family’s responsibilities, but now Surya wants to destroy it all. She recounts past incidents involving Raghu and Monty. Surya doesn’t believe her.
Daadi calls Surya and wants to apologize to Imlie. She asks why Imlie never spoke up against their mistreatment and if she can forgive them. Govind and Rajni apologize too. Sonali suggests Imlie move to Pethanagar and never return. Daadi begs Imlie to forgive them and return home, calling her grand-daughter-in-law. Imlie forgives them emotionally, and Daadi breaks down along with the family.
Daadi insists that Surya bring Imlie home immediately. Surya disconnects the call angrily. Govind worries about Surya’s reaction. Daadi says she’ll find Imlie somehow with her contacts in Purvaiya.
