Pallo tells Imlie not to mess with Bulbul’s relationship. Bulbul tells Pallo to stop blaming Imlie. Titu also warns Pallo and tells Imlie to move on with Surya. Pallo tells Imlie not to come back and bother them. Imlie agrees and wishes Bulbul happiness with her fiance. She leaves with Surya in his car and they go home.
Meanwhile, Indira tells CJ the whole story and tries to make him dislike Imlie. When Surya and Imlie arrive home, Indira reveals Imlie’s true identity to CJ. Surprisingly, CJ accepts Imlie as his daughter-in-law and asks his wife, Hemalatha, to welcome her. Indira disagrees, but CJ insists, saying he’ll also give Indira a chance to welcome the new daughter-in-law. Hemalatha performs the welcoming ceremony for Imlie.
Indira suggests that now CJ has accepted Imlie, she should drop the complaint against Surya. However, Imlie refuses. Hemalatha wonders why she won’t listen, especially after suggesting she move on with Surya. Imlie explains that even though Surya didn’t directly cause Agastya’s death, his negligence led to it, and she wants to show that such mistakes can be fatal. Indira gets angry, but CJ intervenes, asking everyone to calm down and go to their rooms to avoid more stress.
Later, Surya expresses his affection for CJ and compliments Imlie’s appearance. In their room, Surya notices Imlie feeling weak and reminds her to take care of herself, as she donated blood to him. He encourages her to rest and asks why she left the hospital. Imlie thanks him for saving her life and her sister’s engagement, but she also reminds him of his past mistakes, saying nothing he does can impress her. Surya receives a call about Anjali and rushes to her.
During dinner, CJ mentions missing homemade sambar and asks for Surya and Imlie. Nirmala reveals that despite Imlie filing a complaint against him, Surya still supports her. CJ sends Arjun to bring them. Arjun tries to cheer up Imlie, who is lost in thought, and informs her about dinner. Despite Indira’s objections, CJ welcomes Imlie to dinner. However, Malti and Nirmala taunt her, making her stop eating.
Meanwhile, Surya visits Anjali, who emotionally manipulates him into staying. Nirmala instructs Anjali to keep Surya there and carry out her plan. Anjali serves Surya spiked juice, and he unknowingly drinks it.
