Panditji tells Savi to tie a special thread around Ishaan’s feet and promise to follow all traditions faithfully. He wants her to take her responsibilities seriously and eventually give birth to a child for their family. But Savi refuses. She says she won’t have any children for this family and won’t stay long either. She’s only here until her aunt gets better from her coma. This upsets Surekha, who cries and feels humiliated. She explains to Reeva that Savi insults her constantly and she doesn’t know how to deal with her. Durva tries to comfort Surekha, saying that Savi’s departure will be a good thing. Yashwant overhears and demands an explanation.
Ishaan confronts Savi about her behavior. He wonders why she always insults his family when they’ve done nothing wrong to her. Savi argues that lying won’t bring prosperity to the family.
