The story starts with Rukmani being angry with Malhar and then leaving. Sumedh prays to Bappa (a deity). Rukmani comes and prays too. Sumedh asks where she went and apologizes, suggesting they go home. Rukmani feels worried. Kesar notices Malhar’s red cheek and asks what happened. Malhar says he got hurt but won’t let it turn into a big problem. Rukmani feels guilty and decides to tell Sumedh the truth. Sumedh asks why she stopped him from going to Mumbai. Rukmani confesses that she didn’t file for divorce, it was a friend who thought she wasn’t happy in her marriage. She wants to give their relationship another chance. Prisha interrupts them to invite for a party. Kesar insists they should celebrate. Malhar plans a big party, wanting his friends to meet Rukmani. Rukmani hesitates, but Kesar persuades her.
