The episode begins with Rukmani crying and hugging her family during her Bidaai ceremony. A sad song plays in the background. Sumedh and Rukmani leave in the car, with Rukmani crying. Sumedh gives her a handkerchief to wipe her tears. They arrive home, and Rupal asks Rukmani to come inside. However, Kesar stops Rukmani and puts a veil on her head, telling her to walk slowly so everyone can see the new bride. She tells everyone to come tomorrow for the Mu dikhai ceremony, saying good things happen to good people and she kept her promise.
When they reach home, Kesar stops Sumedh and says he can’t enter without performing the grahpravesh ritual. She asks Rukmani to remove her shoes and shouts at Shivani to fetch the aarti kalash for the ritual. Rukmani feels thirsty, so Sumedh asks Pankti to get water for her. However, when Shivani brings the aarti, Kesar scolds her for not bringing the kalash.
Pankti explains that there is no water in the kitchen because the tap was left open. Sumedh suggests getting water from the neighbor, but they find out that there won’t be water for two days. Kesar orders everyone to fill water from the tanker. Sumedh rushes to get buckets of water while Rukmani watches. He returns and asks Pankti to help Rukmani sit. Kesar insists Rukmani can’t enter without completing the grahpravesh rituals.
The lights go out, but Rukmani enters the house. Sumedh sends water for her and tells Kesar he will manage. When Rukmani enters, she accidentally falls down. Kesar scolds her and tells her to go back to the door. Everyone cleans up, and Kesar decides they will do the grahpravesh again. However, Rukmani falls asleep, angering Kesar.
