Rukhmini wants Kesarva’s blessings to keep her family’s respect. But Kesarva refuses and says Rukhmini needs to prove herself to the Thakkar family first. Rukhmini decides to show she can do it.
Sumedh tells Rukhmini she’s hurting herself trying to prove something. Rukhmini promises to fix things between Sumedh and Kesarva. Malhaar is upset about Rukhmini’s actions.
Sumedh offers tea to Kesarva, but she declines. Kesarva tells Rukhmini she can’t go in the kitchen because she’s not trustworthy. Rukhmini’s sister, Rupal, supports her until Kesarva accepts her. Rukhmini asks Rupal to give breakfast to Rasna and Bhaven, but they’re fasting. Rukhmini decides to fast too. Malhaar is mad that Kesarva won’t drink his tea and blames Rukhmini for their fight.
Pankhuri tells Sumedh that Rukhmini is fasting for him. Sumedh is happy and goes to see Rukhmini. Malhaar is jealous.
Sumedh tells Rukhmini to break her fast, but she refuses. Sumedh tells her to take care and drink water. Rupal asks Sumedh to try a dish, but he says he can’t taste because he’s sick. Rupal thinks he’s fasting. Malhaar tries to make Rukhmini eat, but she tells him to stop. Kesarva asks Malhaar what Rukhmini said. Rukhmini says she told him to get married soon. Kesarva tells her to focus on her marriage. Malhaar leaves.
Malhaar can’t believe Rukhmini is a housewife when she used to be a police cadet. Rukhmini says she’s going to her husband. Malhaar thinks she’s pretending.
Rupal tells Kesarva Rukhmini is fasting for Sumedh. Shivani says Rukhmini will break her fast soon. Rupal thinks Rukhmini is just showing off. Malhaar goes to Rukhmini’s tea stall and orders tea. He throws it on the floor and tells her to clean up. Rukhmini says she’ll always serve him because customers are important. Sumedh writes a message to cheer her up.
Rukhmini feels sick while serving tea. Pankhuri gives her chocolate, but she remembers she’s fasting and throws it away. Shivani tells Kesarva Rukhmini broke her fast, but Rukhmini says she forgot and then remembered. Kesarva scolds her.
Kesarva finds Rukhmini’s love letter and accuses her of cheating on Sumedh. Sumedh is hurt and asks Rukhmini about it.
