The episode begins with Shivani asking Kesar to kick Rukmani out of the house. Kesar refuses because Sumedh saved him from an injury earlier that day. He proposes a compromise: Rukmani will take on the role of a traditional housewife and forget about her past and dreams. Kesar assigns her the chore of washing utensils and gives her one month to prove herself as a good wife. If Rukmani fails, she will be thrown out.
Meanwhile, the officers who trained Rukmani watch a video of her performance. They are impressed and believe no one will suspect she is working for them. They decide to use her as an undercover agent.
Rukmani tries to confess the truth to Sumedh but he assures her he already knows. He understands she was not lying but simply couldn’t reveal everything due to the situation. Sumedh appreciates her honesty and encourages her to pursue her dreams and clear her name.
Malhar visits Kesar and expresses his doubts about Rukmani adjusting to the life of a traditional housewife. He believes an undercover officer like Rukmani cannot become a good wife and suggests separating her from Sumedh.
Rukmani prays to Hanuman when the officers arrive to meet her. They reveal they know everything about her past and offer her a position as an undercover agent for the Indian security bureau. They explain how they investigated the drug case and discovered Rajan was the real culprit who drugged her at the cafe. Rukmani is relieved to finally have proof of her innocence but is disappointed she cannot share it with her father. The officers explain that going undercover requires complete secrecy; she cannot reveal her identity to anyone, including her husband and father.
Malhar feels sorry for Sumedh as Kesar seems to be drifting further away. He observes Sumedh has kept Kesar’s belongings, suggesting he still has hope for their relationship. Malhar advises Sumedh to ask Rukmani to leave, believing Kesar will never accept her back. Sumedh, however, disagrees. He tells Malhar that he would be happy even if Rukmani leaves to become an IPS officer because that would represent her following her dreams, which is a form of love.
Kesar asks Rukmani for a decision about her future. Rukmani contemplates the offer from the officers but ultimately chooses to stay with Sumedh. She tells Kesar she will stay by Sumedh’s side, even if it means hiding her hair and living a simple life in his shadow. This decision contradicts her earlier acceptance of the undercover agent position.
