Mangal and Lakshmi go to see Kusum. Kusum tells them she’s okay, but Mangal notices that Gayatri seemed really upset and didn’t talk to them. Kusum starts crying, asking to be left alone. Mangal is worried and says she doesn’t like seeing Kusum upset because sisters should always be there for each other. But Kusum disagrees, saying there should be boundaries even between sisters to avoid becoming toxic for each other.
Later, Karthik asks Gayatri if she found a place for Kusum. He offers to go with her, but Gayatri explains that Kusum is upset because things aren’t going well with Prema ji. Karthik suggests talking to his aunt, but Gayatri declines, saying it’s not necessary and advises Karthik to focus on his engagement preparations.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi buys flowers and receives a call from Mangal. Jiya wants the same flowers, leading to a brief exchange where Lakshmi gracefully gives them to Jiya. Lakshmi reflects on fate and leaves. Mangal and Lakshmi then prepare food together, with Mangal planning to visit Gayatri to sort things out.
At the engagement venue, tensions rise as Karthik expresses his unease about the rushed engagement and Gayatri insists on keeping things private. Mangal tries to enter but is stopped by the guard, leading to a confrontation with Gayatri outside.
Back at home, Kusum questions Lakshmi about Mangal’s whereabouts, and Gayatri’s anger escalates upon discovering that Sanjana posted about the engagement on social media. Somiya and Adit speculate about the situation.
When Mangal returns home, Kusum confronts her for going to Gayatri’s place without informing her. Mangal explains she did it to help Kusum, but Kusum insists she could have handled it herself. Despite the family’s curiosity, Kusum insists they stay out of the matter and not attend the engagement.
