Shiv comes home with Shakti. Kartik says he missed Shiv a lot. Shiv says he went to the hospital, but he didn’t like it there. Then, Mandira arrives and tells them they have to go somewhere else. Everyone in the family gathers there. Some people from the mental asylum come to take Shiv away. Shakti and Kartik try to stop them. Ragunath arrives and asks what’s happening.
Mandira says she thought Shiv wasn’t well, and if he is, he can’t stay at home. They have to send him to the asylum. Shakti says Mandira just wants to control everything. She wants a fake doctor named Keertan to take over the hospital. Shakti insists that Shiv should stay home where it’s safe. Ragunath agrees and says they should call doctors to treat Shiv at home.
Mandira argues that Shiv is dangerous, but Ragunath decides he won’t go anywhere. Keertan, the fake doctor, says Shiv attacked his mother and killed his own, so he must go to the asylum. Ragunath gets angry and tries to slap Keertan, but Keertan pushes him away. Shakti defends Ragunath and warns Keertan not to raise his hand again. Mandira apologizes, saying Keertan is just protective of her. They try to take Shiv away, but Dadi intervenes. She shows a will that says the house belongs to Shiv, so he can’t be thrown out. Shakti supports Dadi, saying it’s Shiv’s house.
Mandira argues that Shiv needs medical treatment, but Dadi questions her. Then, a board member named Mehta arrives. Mandira called him to help Shiv. Mehta says Shiv is unstable, so it’s safer to send him away. Shakti agrees but suggests transferring Shiv’s legal rights to his wife. She claims to be Shiv’s custodian and says she’ll take care of him. Mandira agrees but worries about keeping an eye on Shiv all the time. Shakti suggests that anyone who feels threatened by Shiv can leave the house. This shocks everyone. Shakti asks Mandira if she likes the idea and suggests she can leave if she’s scared.
