The episode begins with Renu taunting Sayali. Sayali glances over at Tejas who is busy talking on the phone. Despite the tension, Tejas and Sayali exchange rings. Everyone claps in celebration. Shubha asks Sayali to smile for a picture. They all take photos together and the guests congratulate the newly engaged couple. Tejas announces he has important work to attend to and excuses himself.
Aaji approaches Sayali and notices her forced smile. She questions Sayali’s happiness and Sayali assures her everything is fine. Aaji scolds Tejas for being on the phone during such an important moment and demands he hang up. Tejas refuses.
Meanwhile, Paresh remarks on the high turnout from their department at the wedding. Kishor agrees, highlighting the significance of their eldest son’s marriage. A guest named Jyoti arrives with Renu. Jyoti recognizes Sayali from her flower shop near the temple and makes a rude comment about her background. Aaji defends Sayali, causing Jyoti to become angry. Renu intervenes before the situation escalates further. Jyoti continues to insult Sayali and questions why they couldn’t find a better match for Tejas. She storms off in a huff.
Aaji sends the children to prepare for the upcoming rituals and instructs Renu to apply mehendi on Sayali’s hands. As Renu applies the mehendi, Paresh calls Sachin and urges him to attend the wedding. Sachin assures his father he will be there soon. Sayali watches her friends dance and a smile creeps across her face. Unable to resist the joy, she joins them on stage, much to the delight of the crowd.
Sachin arrives and Kaka teases him for being late. Sachin asks about his father’s whereabouts and Kaka directs him to the stage for pictures. Before joining the celebration, Sachin seeks out Sudhakar in the kitchen. Sayali and her family are alarmed to see Sudhakar in attendance. They question who invited him but are unable to find an answer. Anxious, Sayali pleads with Dilip to stay calm.
Sachin and Maharaj share drinks and conversation in the kitchen. Upstairs, Isha gets ready and leaves in a cab. Sudhakar takes the opportunity to taunt Shubha about the loan she owes him. Sachin and Maharaj continue their jovial conversation downstairs.
Meanwhile, Akash and Juhi take center stage with a dance performance. As the merriment continues, Sudhakar approaches Tejas and introduces himself as Sayali’s close relative. He congratulates Tejas before Tejas is called away on another phone call. Sudhakar then turns his attention to Sayali and makes insensitive remarks about her recent loss and upcoming marriage. He continues to sing loudly despite Juhi and Dilip’s attempts to get him to leave.
Sudhakar threatens to kidnap Tejas, believing this will force Sayali to marry him. He announces he is simply waiting for the right moment before taking action and exits the scene.
