Lakshmi and Rohan are sitting together, talking. Mangal brings them juice and samosas. Akshar is also there, but Mangal takes him away. Then Mangal leaves, telling them not to be scared to ask anything. He assures them that whatever decision they make, he’ll support them. Lakshmi goes inside.
After a while, Gayatri and Karthik arrive. They apologize for coming at the wrong time because they heard Maya’s family was supposed to visit Lakshmi. But Mangal insists they come in, saying it’s their house too. Gayatri suggests they come another day, and Karthik goes to play with the kids.
Rohan offers Lakshmi juice and accidentally touches her hand, which she doesn’t like. Kusum reassures her, saying everything will be alright. Meanwhile, Karthik warns Rohan about marrying Lakshmi, hinting that she still has feelings for someone else. They joke about it, and Karthik leaves.
