Diljeet feels really happy when Sahiba writes his name as Akeer’s father on Akeer’s birth certificate. While a song called “Aapke Ankhon Me Kuch Mehke Hue Se Raaz Hain..” plays softly in the background, he remembers how wonderful life has become since Sahiba came into his life. He thinks back to the moment he met Sahiba on a bus and believes his life changed for the better since then. He cherishes both Sahiba and Akeer, and Sahiba knows how much he loves Akeer, so she wrote his name on Akeer’s birth certificate. Diljeet also has a precious pearl, a gift from a woman he helped when he was young. He plans to make a ring out of this pearl and give it to Sahiba as a token of his love during Akeer’s birthday tomorrow.
At the hospital, Angad remembers meeting Akeer. A nurse tells him that Simran’s discharge paperwork is finished and hands him the discharge file to review. Sahiba calls the nurse to check if Simran has been discharged, but the process is still ongoing. Sahiba hangs up, and Biji notices her looking worried. Sahiba tells Biji that nothing is wrong, but Biji senses something is bothering her. Diljeet asks Akeer who his father is, and Akeer proudly names Diljeet Singh Panesar. Diljeet asks Akeer to call him “papa,” which delights him. Sahiba watches them from afar, and Biji comments on how happy Diljeet seems today. Diljeet approaches Sahiba with a smile, and Biji remarks to Twinkle that Diljeet hasn’t looked this happy in a while.
Diljeet tells the family that he has invited sirji/Angad to Akeer’s birthday party tomorrow. Akeer questions why he invited the mean uncle, which upsets Sahiba. She insists that Angad shouldn’t come to Akeer’s party and warns Diljeet to sort out the situation before she returns from the market. Meanwhile, Angad finishes Simran’s discharge formalities and arranges for Garry to take her home while he stays back for some work. Garry asks if Angad plans to open a showroom in Panesar, but Angad denies it. Simran notices that Angad has changed since coming to Panesar.
A nurse sees Sahiba at a nearby shop and informs Angad. He approaches Sahiba and tries to talk to her, but she ignores him. He thanks her for saving Simran’s life and mentions Diljeet’s invitation to Akeer’s birthday. Sahiba hopes he won’t come to the party and tries to leave, but Angad offers her something she left at the shop. She refuses to take it, and Angad asks if she’s angry at him like her son. Akeer, with his friend, plans to sabotage Angad’s car by pouring sugar into the fuel tank. Angad catches them and confronts Akeer, who expresses his dislike for Angad and walks away. Angad reflects on how Akeer reminds him of his unborn child.
