Bebe inquires of the family about their plan now that they lack legal representation. Pari expresses surprise, stating they hadn’t anticipated this turn of events. Monty frets, wondering aloud what they should do next. Madhu overhears and smirks, confident in her lawyer’s ability to secure victory. The lawyer reassures her, asserting that Sanju will soon be behind bars.
Monty suggests they consult the lawyers waiting outside the court. Neeti proposes seeking a different lawyer, dismissing those present as amateurs. Pari, however, feeling pressed for time, opts to engage with the available lawyers. Neeti, silently resentful of Pari receiving credit, resolves to intervene.
Pari and Monty approach the lawyers outside the court. One lawyer is seen dancing, while another offers to take any case for a fee. They are directed to the enthusiastic Balli, who eagerly accepts their case, despite a year-long dry spell. Monty explains their need for representation for their brother, who faces molestation charges. Balli initially hesitates upon learning the opposing lawyer is Sinha but relents after Pari implores him, acknowledging him as their only hope.
In the courtroom, Sanju takes the witness stand, eliciting sadness from Pari. Pami inquires about their witness, to which Pari assures her imminent arrival. Neeti disparages Pari’s choice of lawyer, likening him to a joker.
The trial commences, with Madhu’s lawyer, Sinha, painting Sanju as the aggressor in a party incident involving Madhu. Balli, representing Sanju, initially fumbles, prompting Pari’s intervention. Balli counters Sinha’s accusations, claiming Madhu attempted to molest Sanju. Sinha questions Balli’s sobriety, further unnerving him. Balli requests a break, confiding in Pari his unease facing a senior lawyer like Sinha. Pari urges him to refocus.
Outside the courtroom, Madhu jubilantly plans a celebration with a friend, only to be confronted and slapped by Pari. Accused of lying, Madhu retaliates, warning Pari of potential consequences from her husband. Undeterred, Pari defends her husband’s innocence vehemently. Vishal, Madhu’s husband, intervenes, urging Pari to leave. Pari, undaunted, predicts a reversal of fortune for them both once the truth about Madhu emerges. Madhu watches in silence.
