Surya tells Imlie that her exams are really important. He says she won’t get another chance to take them and her studies will be incomplete, just like her dreams. He promised to support her through everything, but now he tears up her exam papers and throws them away. Imlie asks if he’s happy now, after being jealous before. Surya tells her to get used to it, as he’s caused her a lot of pain.
Meanwhile, Daadi asks Jugnu to prepare Agastya’s room for Imlie’s arrival. She brings in a photo of Agastya and Imlie to make the room complete. Sonali interrupts with news that Imlie’s school caught her cheating, so she can’t take her exams.
Surya goes to Daadi, who slaps him for ruining Imlie’s future. She trusted him but he acted too quickly without thinking. Sonali and Shivani are disappointed in him too. Surya walks away, feeling regretful.
Later, Tripathi tells Surya that Imlie recorded something on her phone before going to Monty’s house. They watch the recording, where Imlie plans to confront someone at Monty’s house. When Surya arrives, Raghu tries to attack Imlie.
Imlie runs away and Raghu follows, demanding his diamonds. Surya rushes to save her and confronts Raghu. Raghu injures Imlie, and Surya questions why he’s doing this. Raghu threatens to harm Surya’s sister, Malti, unless he returns the diamonds. He also mentions people who killed someone named Agastya, implying Surya should investigate. Before Surya can respond, Raghu shoots, but Imlie jumps in front of Surya, taking the bullet. Surya is shocked and catches her.
