The episode starts with Vinayak urgently informing everyone that Arshi has taken sleeping pills. Arshi is quickly taken inside, and Vinayak fills out some forms. Anirudh pulls Choton aside to talk.
Dadi expresses her intention to put an end to Arshi’s act of being a married woman. Jhanak defends herself, saying that her mother isn’t alive and she wanted to go but wasn’t allowed. Dadi scolds her for her actions. Choton assures Anirudh that Arshi will recover and be discharged soon.
Anirudh reveals a note he found, stating that Jhanak is responsible for Arshi’s distress. Choton agrees that the situation could escalate. Jhanak confesses that the marriage is a sham forced upon them by the villagers. She bursts into tears, pleading with everyone to understand her pain.
Meanwhile, the nurse informs them that Arshi needs detoxification treatment before she can be discharged. Anirudh and Vinayak agree to the procedure. Shubh expresses relief at this news. Vinayak regrets not preponing the marriage, but Anirudh reassures him that he’ll take care of Arshi.
Choton wonders if Anirudh truly knows what love is and suspects that Anirudh may actually love Jhanak instead. Appu defends Jhanak against Dadi’s anger.
Later, when Arshi expresses her desire to go home, Shrishti insists they’ll take her. Anirudh tries to comfort Arshi, promising to stand by her side and expressing his love for her. However, Shrishti and others argue against Anirudh’s involvement.
Despite Anirudh’s attempts to explain himself, Arshi feels betrayed by the secrets he’s kept from her. Tanuja apologizes on behalf of her son, and Anirudh reassures Arshi of his love.
Back at home, tensions rise between Jhanak and the rest of the family. Dadi plans to go to the Ganga ghat for an undisclosed reason, causing concern for Jhanak. Meanwhile, Arshi questions Anirudh about his feelings for her, but he seems distracted.
As Anirudh embraces Arshi, he’s plagued by thoughts of Jhanak. He assures Arshi of his love but is visibly troubled by his conflicting emotions.
