Preeta tells Karan she’ll put her clothes away in the wardrobe when Karan says he’s leaving. They almost bump into each other but stop. Karan says goodnight before leaving. Preeta looks at the moon, feeling strange, wondering why she feels like she’s known Karan for a long time. She stays on the balcony.
Rajveer angrily enters, takes off his jacket, and thinks about his mom. He’s determined to bring her back from the Luthra Mansion, where she’s treated like a servant. He reads her letter, which says she’ll be away for a day or two but hasn’t forgotten him. She’s packed dinner and snacks for him. Rajveer feels guilty for mistreating his mom and vows to make Karan suffer.
