Imlie goes to Surya. Surya asks her to help him decide how to harm the Chaudhrys, either by burning, strangling, or stabbing them. Imlie threatens him with a knife. Surya reveals he already poisoned them through lemonade sent by Jugnu. Imlie stops Jugnu from serving the lemonade to Daadi. Daadi is surprised to see Imlie and mistakes her for Paro, the maid. Surya pretends to be shocked and mistakes her for Yamli, who had a contract marriage with Agastgya. Binni suggests Imlie might be there to steal. Imlie warns Daadi not to drink the poisoned lemonade.
Surya drinks the lemonade and questions why he would harm anyone. Imlie warns him to stop pretending, as he orchestrated this drama to force her to reveal her identity. Surya admits he’s grown attached to the Chaudhrys and wants them to stay, so he gives Sonali a document transferring 50% ownership of the house back to the Chaudhrys. Daadi disagrees with this. Surya asks Daadi to stay, considering her family as his own. Imlie tries to expose Surya, but the Chaudhrys blame and yell at her, telling her to leave. Imlie leaves with her cloth bag. Malti sees her leaving and is introduced to the Chaudhrys by Surya.
Imlie returns home. Bulbul asks if she’s going back to the Chaudhry house. Imlie says she’s leaving the village to protect Agastya’s family. Bulbul worries about her staying alone. Pallo doesn’t want to stop Imlie, thinking it’s good to get rid of her. Malti informs Surya about Imlie leaving and worries about tracking Raghu without her. Surya is confident Imlie won’t leave.
Sonali notices Alka’s nervousness around Surya and asks when they’ll leave. Sonali decides they’re not leaving. She seeks Amar’s help to go to the government hospital. Sonali tries to meet nurse Sarla, who has worked there for over 20 years. Amar and Sonali trick the staff into calling Sarla. Meanwhile, Surya goes to Imlie’s house and finds her asleep. He ties her cot to his jeep and starts to drag it. Imlie wakes up and warns him to stop. Surya enjoys their banter. Imlie cuts the rope, and Surya stops the jeep to approach her.
